Adrian Segar loves to facilitate connection between people. He has been designing, facilitating, and convening meetings since 1981, and participant-led and participation-rich events, commonly known as unconferences, since 1992.

He is the author of three books on meeting design: Conferences That Work: Creating Events That People LoveThe Power of Participation: Creating Conferences That Deliver Learning, Connection, Engagement, and Action, and Event Crowdsourcing: Creating Meetings People Actually Want and Need.

Adrian is an acknowledged innovator and presenter on participant-led event design, and facilitates four popular opening and closing plenaries: The Three QuestionsThe Solution RoomA Personal Introspective, and A Group Spective.

Adrian lives in Vermont, USA, has founded two non-profits and served for decades on many non-profit boards. He loves to sing and dance.
